State Requirements

Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

Most states of Australia accept a nationally recognised statement of attainment unless stated otherwise:

Queensland (QLD)
The Rsa Online Today RSA course we provide has been approved by Eclipse Vale Pty. Ltd. RTO#32252 to provide this training in Queensland.
As of the 1st of January 2009 training in Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) has become mandatory for all staff working in all licensed premises in the state of Queensland. Staff members employed prior to 1st January will have until 30th June 2010 to complete the required training. All staff employed after January 1st 2009 will be required to complete the required training within 30 days of commencement. Any staff member who finish work at their current workplace and is then employed at another licensed premise must complete RSA training within 30 days of commencement.

Victoria (VIC)
Responsible Service of Alcohol in Victoria is only valid via classroom based training. Online training in this unit of study is not accepted. We recommend using Eclipse Online Education to make a classroom booking:

Northern Territory (NT)
The Nationally Recognised RSA course we provide is accepted in the Northern Territory.
People working at licensed premises throughout the Northern Territory are required to attain an RSA Statement of Attainment. From 1 May 2009 onwards, new employees will have one month from their start date to attain an RSA Statement of Attainment. Existing employees will have until 1 August 2009 to complete the training. Existing RSA Statement of Attainment will be accepted.

Western Australia (WA)
The Nationally Recognised RSA course we provide is accepted in Western Australia.

South Australia (SA)
The Nationally Recognised RSA course we provide is accepted in South Australia.

Australian Capital Territory (ACT)
The Rsa Online Today RSA course we provide is not accepted in the ACT.

Tasmania (TAS)
The Nationally Recognised RSA course we provide is accepted in Tasmania.

New South Wales (NSW)
